What are a list of black love films I can name our reception tables?

Examples like: Love Jones and Love and basketball.

I find a lot of black love stories include a lot of comic relief... such as all the Tyler Perry movies have some kind of love story included... not really any good titles for what you are looking for. Other love stories include: Daddy's Little Girls Disappearing Acts Claudine Down in the Delta Love Chronicles All About You A Thin Line Between Love and Hate (may not be appropriate :)) Also, a lot of black love stories don't have big names. You might have better luck looking at a BET movies list. They seem to show the films you've never heard of. Best of Luck.
5. Assuming you mean movies where the man and woman in love are both black here are a few: Brown Sugar, Coming to America, The Best Man, Poetic Justice, Jason's Lyric, Stomp The Yard? This was a very good question.. I always had suspicions that hollywood had a problem making movies showing black on black love, but the fact that I am only able to name so few movies confirms my thoughts. I can think of a few other movies, but they're not really love movies, they're just movies that happen to touch on the subject of love. The fact of the matter is, la list of love movies with white couples would be a mile long... Oh well, at least we still have old school r&b jams to make up for it :) I hope this helps a little, and congratulations on the engagement!
