What's a good love story that sucks you in as good as twilight?
I'm looking for a book to read that has a love story comparable to twilight. It doesn't have to be aboput vampires but a good book that makes you look at love a different more in depth way as twilight does. Got any ideas?

- The Notebook, Vampire Diaries, (sorta is love story.) A walk to remember.
- the vampire academy series (by richelle mead) is so much more better than twilight. The love story is even better than twilight's will ever be.
- City of Bones series by Cassandra Clare Fallen by Lauren Kate Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
- Me and my girlfriend!

- I love this book called Fallen by Lauren Kate. Its a really good love story. :D
- Look no farther than Nicholas Sparks!! "The Notebook" and "A Walk To Remember", so very romantic. You should really enjoy them, happy reading!!
- You totally have to read the House of Night series! The first ones called marked. (: It's by P.c. Cast and her daughter Kristin Cast.
- Wuthering Heights trust me on this one :)
- ok try "The Lonely Hearts Club" i just started it and it is AMAZING! not exactly like Twilight but its a story about boycotting Love but in the end the girl does find love
- You will LOVE these: - Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr. It's about this magical race called fey's and two rulers who are fighting against eachother- the winter Queen and the summer King. In order for the summer King to defeat the Winter Queen, he must find the Summer Queen who will help give him back more power to defeat the Winter Queen. He then thinks it is Aisline who does not want to join him, as she has the 'sight' to see fey (they are invisible to normal humans) and has been taught that they are not trustworthy and should be avoided. This makes a terrible problem for Aisline as he wishes to court her, and she is already in love with somebody else and does not trust them. It's really good! (The summer king is really hot too! His breath smells like the summer breeze and he glows like the hot, melting sun...) Blurb on the back of the book: Rule 3: Don’t stare at invisible faeries. Aislinn has always seen faeries, although they would certainly blind her if they knew of her Sight. Powerful and dangerous, they walk hidden in the mortal world. Rule 2: Don’t speak to invisible faeries. But now faeries are stalking her. One of them, a beautiful boy named Keenan, is trying to talk to her, asking questions Aislinn is afraid to answer. Rule 1: Don’t ever attract their attention. Now it’s too late. Keenan is the Summer King and has sought his queen for nine centuries. Without her, summer itself will perish. He is determined that Aislinn will become the Summer Queen at any cost ... - Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. This book is about this girl called Rose who is training to look after the Moroi – the good vampires - and protect them from harm against the Strigoi – the bad ones. However, at school, she falls in love with her instructor who is only seven years older than her, is extremely good at killing and is referred to as a ‘badass’ and a ‘god,’ since he has extremely good looks – he is Russian and apparently has “a gorgeous Russian accent.” He falls in love with her too, but it is complicated – because both of them will soon be made to protect Lissa – a Moroi, and to do that, if danger occurs, they need to jump in front of a bullet for her – not each other (which is what would happen if they pursue their love). An extremely good romance with lots of action! - A Kingdom Of Dreams by Judith McNaught. Blurb on the back of the book: He was called the Wolf. He never lost a battle and - it was said - he took no prisoners and ate the flesh of those he killed. He was huge, handsome, black-haired and fierce. She was a Scottish heiress, a countess in her own right and reputation had it that she was a cold, sour, ugly spinster. They were both about to be astounded. When she was abducted by the Wolf's men, he found she was bewitching, courageous and totally unpredictable. She tricked him, made him the laughing stock of the English and Scottish courts, and drove him to fury with her defiance. When, by royal decree, they had to stand together at the altar and form a dynastic marriage, it was obvious it was going to be a stormy and tempestuous union… This is such a fantastic love story – When Jennifer, the Scottish woman and her sister are abducted, it is because they are bargaining chips to be used for the Scottish to surrender in the war they are fighting, to make sure the English win. The main guy in-charge, Royce Westmoreland, tries to control them, but Jennifer defies him in every possible way, loyal to her family and the Scottish. She plans an escape, but they are captured once again and Royce makes it his duty to never let Jennifer out of his sight – she is the most dangerous of the two sisters. He soon finds that he is spending a great deal of time with her, and starts to fall in love with her. She is the only one who can make him laugh, and she brings out the best in him. You will absolutely fall in love with the characters. Tall, dark and rugged Royce Westmoreland is impossible to resist, and bold, strong and courageous Jennifer is hilarious. Add to that the era which the novel is set (in the 1400’s), and you’ve got all the chivalry of the knights to add to their (particularly Royce’s) persona as well. I would SERIOUSLY recommend this book. Hope I helped!
- The Notebook
- Try Billy Budd. It's even more exciting than Twilight! Seriously though, GET A LIFE and read a real book, not just some Mormon housewife's sexual fantasy. If you think Twilight is about real love, think again. A better word would be "lust". Edward is attracted to her because he thinks she smells good; she is attracted to him because he SPARKLES. PATHETIC!!!
- Pretty Dead by Francesca Lia Block Companions of the Night by Vivian Vande Velde Both of these are vampire novels and both have a sort of interesting way of looking at love and how love works. Um... Companions of the Night is more similar to Twilight in the sense that the main character is a human girl who falls in love with a vampire, but it's still very different. Pretty Dead is even more different--the main character is a vampire who is telling her story--but you might still like them though. Give 'em a try? Edit: Another book I thought of is Generation Dead by Daniel Waters. You might like this, especially if you enjoyed the love triangle in the Twilight series. A review on the back of the book even compares the author to Stephenie Meyer, though I found the comparison horribly unfair to Waters since Generation Dead is both more original and more compelling. This isn't a vampire novel, though, like the other two I suggested. Rather, the supernatural creatures in this book are zombies. It's a really interesting concept.
- Nothing can compare to Twilight... it's THE WORST BOOK I HAVE EVER SET MY EYES ON!!!
- The Princess Bride?
- I think maybe you can enter anything you want to read at the following sites: http://www.whatshouldireadnext.com/search http://www.hackleylibrary.org/pg/BOOKS__MORE/what_to_read_next.html
- Well this is a vampire book but The vampire diaries. also the book is more science fiction and it does have great approach to love the host by Stephenie meyer
- I could list a couple of thousand love stories that are infinitely better than Twilight. How appropriate that you chose to use the word "suck" in the same sentence.
